Established in 1998, Lake Cooper Estate is located in the Northern end of the Heathcote Region and is renowned for its Shiraz wines and rich Cambrian soils formed from volcanic rocks 50 million years ago. Wines produced are made from 100% fruit grown in our own vineyard. The natural style of our Lake Cooper wines, made by Peter Kelliher and manager Donald Risstrom, have rich and ripe flavours. The full body and fine tannins will ensure long lived wines while the soft, smooth velvety textured palate means the wines can be enjoyed in their youth. Since the first vintage Shiraz in 2000 the wine varieties have gradually increased and now include: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Verdelho and Sauvignon Blanc. We have also added bubbles to our wine list with our Sparkling Shiraz and Sparkling Chardonnay – both very popular wines.Annual event: -  "A Day on the Hill" third Sunday in October - Wine tastings, food, live music, local produce and family entertainment.Opening times: - Cellar Door - Open Fridays & Saturdays 11am - 5pm or by appointment -"Great Function Venue"
