Condie Heathcote Estate is a boutique vineyard owned and operated by Richie Condie. His passion is to make premium elegant red wines. The philosophy is simple, vine health, Heathcote terrior, traditional wine making, the best French oak and let the unique characteristics shine.

The 12 acre vineyard, situated in the central Heathcote region 12 kms north of the township on Lewis Rd established in 2001, comprising of 6 acres of Shiraz, 1 acre of Viognier and 5 acres of Sangiovese planted in 2008. The wines The shiraz is all estate grown on Mt Langi Ghiran & PT23 shiraz clones. Low yielding vines producing less than 1 ton to the acre of high quality fruit. The aim is to produce an elegant Heathcote shiraz balanced between fruit, acid, tannins, oak and alcohol. The uniqueness not only comes from the famed Heathcote terrior, but also from the Mt Langi Ghiran shiraz clones and the east west row orientation. The 2008 Shiraz is an elegant fruit driven shiraz that has beautiful cherry, plum, raspberry fruit characters, fine tannins and shiraz spices.
