The Stefani Estate property on the Heathcote – Rochester Road was purchased in 2002 and it adjoins property of wine-maker Mario Marson. This property is situated at the start of the Mt Camel ranges north of the Great Divide, with vines all grown on the famed Cambrian soil.

The vineyard was initially planted with Shiraz then Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Malbec and Merlot.
Recently in 2007 varietal cuttings from original Stefani vineyard in Tuscany, were released after 3 years in Australian quarantine. These were grafted onto established root-stock in various positions in the vineyards to gauge best growing conditions.
2009 harvest will bring a new selection of wines to the market.
All fruit is hand-picked and utmost care is taken at every stage of production.
