Chef-turned-sommelier-turned-winemaker Adam Foster has carved out a significant identity for himself, both making Rhône-inspired reds under his Syrahmi imprint and other varieties under The Garden of Earthly Delights label.
Adam first started making wine in 2004. In 2017 he and his wife Pip planted a block of organically grown, high-density Shiraz amongst the granite boulders on their property in Tooborac. They have since built a winery and cellar door.
You will find these sought after wines in many of Australia’s top restaurants. A small amount is sold in boutique fine wine stores but if you want to get your hands on some you’re best to make an appointment to visit their cellar door in Tooborac.
